Top Pakistani University Signs Innovative Research Agreement With Cambridge University

The Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad has entered into a partnership with the University of Cambridge to advance research and innovation, particularly in the fields of materials science, clean energy, aerospace, healthcare, and digital technology.

The agreement, signed during a special ceremony at Cambridge University, aims to strengthen academic collaboration and promote knowledge exchange between the two leading institutions.

Under the initiative, the first 100 days will focus on research exchanges, industry partnerships, and development projects to lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation.

The signing ceremony was attended by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, alongside QAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar and senior officials from Cambridge University.

Officials said the collaboration reflects Pakistan’s growing emphasis on international academic partnerships to enhance scientific innovation and contribute to global research challenges.
