Karachi University has announced admission test results with a success rate of just 39 percent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The number of high-performing students was very low, as out of 7226 candidates, 2828 students were able to pass the test.
As many as 1735 students cleared the test by scoring 50 to 60 marks, while the largest number of students who passed the test are those who scored between 50 and 60 marks.
The rate of students who scored 60 to 70 marks was 29.3 percent, while only 263 students scored 70 or more marks.
Only 20 students scored 80 to 90 marks, and no candidate scored 90 to 100 marks.
The rate of students who scored above 80 was just 0.28 percent.
The test was held for 20 fields, including Pharmacy, Computer Science, AI, and Business.
