SITUATIONS VACANT

The University of Sargodha (UOS) invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following contractual positions at the Multimedia Development Centre / Media Information Center.

?? AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Graphic Designer (BPS-16)

• No. of Posts: 01 (Contract Basis)

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of education (2nd Division).

  • Three (03) years of relevant post-qualification experience in a private or public sector organization.

  • Must demonstrate innovation in design.

  • Skills in Photoshop, Graphic Design, Corel Draw, and AutoCAD will be preferred.

• Age Limit: 25–35 years

2. Reporter (BPS-14)

• No. of Posts: 01 (Contract Basis)

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Second class or Grade-C Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Social Sciences.

    Health science courses

  • Must have computer proficiency in MS Word and InPage.

  • Five (05) years of relevant field experience.

• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years

3. Videographer (BPS-11)

• No. of Posts: 01 (Contract Basis)

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Ten (10) years of education (2nd Division).

  • Two (02) years of post-qualification experience in managing still and video cameras and related equipment.

  • Expertise in cinematography within a public or private sector organization.

  • Diploma or Certificate in Photography/Videography will be preferred.

• Age Limit: 21–30 years

4. Photographer / Video Editor (BPS-07)

• No. of Posts: 02 (Contract Basis)

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Fourteen (14) years of education (2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Three (03) years of relevant post-qualification experience in video editing, animation, and post-production in a public or private sector organization.

  • Experience in linear and non-linear editing will be preferred.

• Age Limit: 25–35 years

Note: For posts at Sr. No. 3 & 4, preference will be given to candidates who can operate video cameras and edit on Adobe Premiere Pro.

?? GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Shortlisting & Interviews:

   • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.

2. Application Form:

   • Available on the University website: www.su.edu.pk.

   • Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form with a complete CV and attested copies of testimonials.

   • Two recent passport-size photographs must be affixed on each application form.

3. Processing Fee:

   • Rs. 1,000 for posts in BPS-16, BPS-14, and BPS-11.

   • Rs. 500 for posts in BPS-07.

   • The fee must be deposited under the Head of Account “Collection” in:
     HBL A/C No. 00427991777803 – University of Sargodha.

   • No other mode of payment (Demand Draft, Postal Order, etc.) will be accepted.

4. Submission Instructions:

   • Candidates must submit hard copies of their application forms via registered post/courier.

   • Applications by hand will not be accepted.

   • Separate applications are required for multiple posts.

5. In-Service Candidates:

   • Applicants already serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.

6. Application Validity:

   • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered, even if posted before the closing date.

   • False or misleading information at any stage will lead to disqualification.

7. Age Relaxation:

   • Permissible as per Government policy/rules.

8. Contract Terms:

   • Initial appointment will be for three (03) years.

   • The position is non-transferable and post-specific.

   • Contract employees cannot claim regularization or extension as a matter of right.

9. University’s Rights:

   • The University reserves the right to increase, decrease, withdraw, or not fill any advertised post without assigning any reason.
