Since 2026 the applicants will be required to score a minimum of 65 percent in FSc (Pre-Medical) or a similar certificate in order to take the test. In the past, this was lowered to 60 percent. The MDCAT will be conducted by provincial universities with a syllabus and question bank prepared by PMDC. PMDC stricktly instructed universities to stop any attemp regarding paper copying or paper leakage.
