Punjab CM Laptop Scheme Portal Opens for Student Registration
The Government of Punjab has officially opened the registration portal for the Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025–26, allowing eligible students to apply online for free laptops. Under this initiative, students enrolled in public and private universities across Punjab can submit their applications through the online portal until the announced deadline, such as February 15, 2026. According to official details, the scheme aims to promote digital learning and empower youth by providing modern laptops to qualified students, and applicants are generally required to have a minimum of 65% academic marks. The opening of the portal is part of a wider educational initiative by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who has relaunched the laptop distribution scheme after several years to expand access for a large number of students. Students are encouraged to visit the official portal and complete the online registration process by providing their personal and academic details before the closing date.
